Well hubby already has the itch for baby #2!!! I heard that's how things are, you have the first one and are itching to have another soon...I don't know, to be honest I really did not like being pregnant!! I understand it takes nine months for the baby to develop in the womb and growth of the fetus is truly remarkable, but I did not enjoy it. It probably didn't help that I was coaching basketball on the high school level while I was that stress didn't help me feel comfortable at all!!
Actually, I didn't like how physically uncomfortable I was...not being able to sleep, not fitting clothes or feeling comfortable in them, people asking to touch my belly (which really gets annoying), morning sickness (even though it wasn't that horrible), not able to workout like I like to (lifting heavy weights), etc. You other mothers out there know all the things I'm talking about. And to go through it again, just now when I starting to get used to seeing myself close to my pre-baby shape and gaining confidence in being a mother. I really don't know if I'm ready to do it all again soon or at all for that matter.
I love my little girl and I'm so happy God blessed us with her. If its in God's plan to have another we will, but to be honest I know I'm definitely not ready at all just yet.......just need to convince hubby that we might need to wait longer than his timetable so that I'm ready........we will see!!!

* Visiting from over at

I can empathize with you whole heartedly. I am mommy to four children, ages 13, 11, 9 and 18 mos. I am finished! Lol

Two out of my four pregnancies were unplanned surprises. I was over emotional! Hope everything works out and I hope hubby gets on the same page with you.

Oh gosh! It definitely sounds like you shouldn't be trying to have a baby yet, since you KNOW you're not ready. Children automatically put stress on your marriage. Ask your husband if it can be a non-issue for a year, and then re-visit. If you are constantly pressured, you're going to feel guilty and more stressed which is going to take away from quality time with your husband and your baby.

I think as a woman and as a wife one has to compromise when it comes to having baby # 2 because it is going to be a backup for your 1st child and you gain more confidence and responsible in your family
i would also like to add a word on this for which money matters and money spending habits are equally important and you can learn it in a very simple and natural way
